Everything you type into PocketSeeds is saved in your browser's localStorage on your own device. That includes:

• Income and expense entries, categories and dates
• Hand loans (వడ్డీ), chit funds (చిట్టీలు), gift book (మొయి), credit given (అరువు)
• Reminders, savings goals, festival funds, family member names you add
• Your settings — language, theme, interest rate, budget figures

None of this is transmitted to us. We operate no database and no backend service. If you clear your browser data or uninstall the app, this information is permanently gone — which is why the Google Drive backup below exists.

This feature is entirely optional and does nothing unless you tap Save my data and sign in.

If you do use it:

• Google tells the app your name, email address and profile picture. This stays on your device and is shown so you know which account is connected.
• A copy of your PocketSeeds data is written to your own Google Drive, in a hidden area called appDataFolder. This is a private space that only this app can read — other apps cannot, and it does not appear among your normal Drive files.
• We do not receive a copy. The backup goes from your device to your Drive directly. There is no server of ours in between.

To disconnect, go to your Google Account permissions page and remove PocketSeeds. To delete the backup itself, use Drive → Settings → Manage apps and choose "Delete hidden app data".

బ్యాంక్ SMSBank SMS messages

PocketSeeds does not and cannot read your text messages. It has no SMS permission. The bank-message feature works only when you copy a message yourself and paste it into the app. The text is then parsed on your device to suggest an entry, which you review before it is saved. The message is never uploaded anywhere.

The microphone button uses your browser's built-in speech recognition. This is worth understanding clearly: in Chrome and most Chromium browsers, the audio is sent to Google's speech servers to be converted into text. That is how the browser feature works — it is not something PocketSeeds adds or controls, and it is governed by your browser's own privacy policy, not ours.

At present the ad slots show our own placeholder cards and contact no external ad network. If Google AdSense is switched on in future, the AdSense script would load from Google and may set cookies or use a device identifier to select ads, as described in Google's advertising policies. We would never pass your financial entries to an ad network — the app has no mechanism to do so.

బయటి లింకులుLinks to other websites

The shopping strip links to Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho and Myntra, and the credit page links to CIBIL. These are ordinary search links and carry no affiliate or tracking codes — we earn nothing from them and receive no information about what you do after clicking. Once you leave, that site's own privacy policy applies.

హోస్టింగ్ మరియు ఫాంట్‌లుHosting and fonts

Two ordinary technical details, stated for completeness:

• The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub records standard server request logs, which include IP addresses. See GitHub's privacy statement.
• Telugu and English typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google sees the request for the font file, including your IP address.

Neither of these has any access to what you enter in the app.

• No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no tracking script of any kind in this app.
• No accounts. No password, no phone number, no OTP, no registration.
• No selling or sharing. We do not sell, rent, trade or share your data, because we do not hold it.
• No profiling. We do not build a profile of your spending or use it to target anything at you.
• No credit checks. The app does not fetch your CIBIL score or contact any credit bureau. Any score shown is one you typed in yourself.

మీ నియంత్రణYour control over your data

Because the data lives on your device, you are in direct control of it:

• To export it: use the month-end statement download inside the app.
• To delete everything: clear this site's data in your browser settings, or uninstall the app from your home screen.
• To delete the Drive backup: Drive → Settings → Manage apps → Delete hidden app data.

You do not need to ask us to do any of this, and we could not do it for you even if you did — we have no access to your device or your Drive.

పిల్లలుChildren

PocketSeeds is a household budgeting tool intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we knowingly collect no information from anyone — of any age — because we collect no information at all.

If the app gains a feature that changes how data is handled, this page will be updated and the date at the top changed. Since there are no accounts, we cannot email you about it — the date at the top is the honest signal, so check here if it matters to you.
